Leisa Payne School of Dance is a studio born from the passion, dedication and vision of its founder Leisa Payne. Leisa established the school with a clear purpose of providing an exceptional dance education within a nurturing and supportive environment. Her dream was to create a studio where dancers of all ages can receive the very best, while feeling valued and inspired. Today, that dream has definitely been achieved.
35 years later, the legacy continues with the help of an outstanding team of professional and talented teachers who all share the same commitment to excellence.

OUR FACILITIES
STUDIO 53
Our classes are located at the premium location, Studio 53. Studio 53 has 8 studios with six of those being custom dance studios. The Studio’s have custom sprung dance flooring with double height ballet barres and full length edge to edge mirrors.

My daughter Gemma started with Leisa Payne School of Dance at four years old with introductory ballet lessons. Six years later, she’s still doing ballet but also tap, jazz, hip hop, acrobatics, and musical theatre and is hoping to add even more classes next year. The studio has become like a second home for Gem and her peers who have formed close friendships with each other. I’m not your archetype dance mum but I have also found friendships through dance. Leisa and her team have taught thousands of kids, but each are loved and cared for, and Leisa has gone above and beyond for my daughter when she has needed emotional support. We signed up for a dance school but incidentally also found a community we now couldn’t imagine not being a part of.

We have been with Leisa Payne School of Dance for almost three years now. Leisa and all of the teachers at LP have passion and dedication for teaching dance unlike anything I have ever seen before. My daughter has improved out of sight not only in ability but also confidence. The skills and friendships they have made will really help them grow, not only as better dancers but better people.

We joined Leisa Payne School of Dance when our girls were just 6 and 4 years old. We found Leisa and her teaching staff to offer a high-quality dance training in all genres. 11 years on and the teaching quality in dance technique and education is still second to none. Their tutelage fosters lifelong skills in precision, dedication, commitment and hard work that reach beyond just like the world of dance, skills that can be carried into adulthood. The foundations at Leisa Payne see graduating students excel in their chosen fields, whether that be pursuing a dance career or another professional career. Leisa Payne has been integral to the development of our girls and for this I am truely grateful.
